This stage is the most important step in any project. This ensures that the execution of our works is carried out within the programmes allowance and budget. This process will require several meetings and design workshops to enable us to coordinate the works to the required brief.
All designs require validation. Often designs look great with 3D modelling but too often don't work in practice. All services need to be on the same page so no clashes of services occur when installing onsite. This can often lead to delays.
Once the scope of works has been agreed this is when we would look to make a start onsite. This step will include any Building control notifications, Logistics & Methodology. But is primarily used for Welfare, H&S & any site protection as required.
During this process there is often the need for out of hours working to assist any recycling or waste away. Including the set up of any dust extraction as required. This is also often used to remove any hazardous materials such as Asbestos etc.
Once the site is clear of any waste or hazardous materials we can then instruct our team to begin any mechanical or electrical 1st fix. This will run alongside any new construction required such as new stud partitioning or any other new structures the build requires.
Upon completion of the first fix stage, once all dead testing and validations of new services is carried out, we can then begin to close up walls and look to the final finishes. This could be Tape and jointing or final plastering. Swiftly followed by our team of decorators to bring your new space to life.
This step is the design teams favourite. This is when your new space really comes to life. With your new bespoke furniture and joinery and when all your company branding is installed. Other items such as acoustic solutions and branded Glass Graphics are one of the final touches in this process.
Often referred to as a builders clean. However, we go the extra mile! Every surface is cleaned and protected to ensure that everything is perfect for when you and your staff move in to your new space!
For some this is the best stage, you get your space back! This is when all O&M data is provided with any certification such as electrical or HVAC. Any photography and obviously all site training and demonstrations.
